Programmes Corporate Skills Business English Business Communication Business Writing Customer Service		Business English Intended for students preparing for a career in the business industry or for those who are already in the business world and are keen to improve their language proficiency, The Language Institute’s ‘Business English Programme’ is designed to bring the world of international business into the classroom. Designed around the most recent ideas in the business world, this task-based course caters for a wide variety of needs involving different interest areas, specialisation and work skills. Throughout the programme, The Language Institute students would be encouraged to apply their background and experiential knowledge to reinforce their learning. The course is divided into 8 modules of four main parts: Language Focus, Business Vocabulary, Skills Focus and Focus on Functions. As a student, you will learn new grammar to reinforce the grammar that you have learnt before; consolidate and increase your range of active and passive vocabulary; expand your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills; and review and expand your range of expressions. In addition, the course facilitates your acquisition of telephoning, socialising and business correspondence skills in English. Topics included in this programme are: Communication International Marketing Building Relationships Job Satisfaction Customer Service Management Styles Business and the Environment The Shape of the Future As The Language Institute will conduct a needs analysis to ensure the programme taught is beneficial and specific to learners’ needs, these topics could be further modified to accommodate students’ needs.
